I had scrolled through my project looking for this picture when I was describing it to you and was surprised to find that I'd never posted it! I did use it as a background shot for an alphabet I did, but you really couldn't see the picture, so I've posted it just for you! When I took this shot I was convinced it was all about the pattern on the leaf. But Laurinda totally changed my mind. She was right- the story is the pine needle, not the pattern. And in reality- that is exactly what drew me to take the shot- that little pine needle resting in the fold of the petal.
