Although I'm not a competitor this time around (I'm the host!), I still thought I'd give the challenge a go as I really have fun with these.
The South Carolina-class Battleships (The South Carolina and The Michigan) were built during the first decade of the 20th century and were the first American dreadnoughts which relied on smaller fast-firing guns at close range. They were soon surpassed by other designs and both were scrapped after WWII.
Quote: I am a member of a party of one and I live in an age of fear. E. B. White
I immediately thought of this shot of my parent's groomsmen when this name came up for the band. The E. B. White quote seemed quite strange as I am familiar with his children's books (Charlotte's Web, The Trumpet of the Swan and Stuart Little for example) and they are such happier offerings!
The Album Cover Challenge is great fun. Come on- give it a try!
You should always be the host for this challenge because you do so well but then we would never get to see your amazing albums! this one lends itself so nicely to the textures you have applied
Thank you Marilyn, Kerri, Katy, Dawn, Ferry, Babs, Wendy and Marnie for all those kind praises! I do have fun with it, but I am in good company- there are a lot of talented "album makers" on this site!
