I have a friend who has a fairy garden in her back yard for her grandchildren. There’s nothing better than encouraging sweet imaginations! This is wonderful, and like @maggiemae I’m sure a storybook is coming.
Thank you Maggie, Katy, Lou Ann, Babs, Taffy, Haskar, Denise, Kerri, Marilyn, Henri, Dawn, Mave, and Kathy! Thanks so much for all the views, comments and favs- glad you enjoyed this little imaginative excursion!
@mave This is a combination of 3 pictures- the mushroom, my grandson (who was posed that way on purpose when he visited in June just for using in composites like this), and the fawn; 2 textures- the snow and the green leaves; and a bunch of effects to "smooth" things out and punch up the color a bit. Composite work is a lot of fun but I don't always remember the order I do things in so I can't exactly tell you how I did this one step by step. When you merge the different photos, it's like putting them together in layers. Some of the photo you're adding in gets erased while other parts stay on- and that can be done as many times as you like.
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! There's been a lot of foolery lately- covering up the fact I've not been feeling up to getting out and about with the camera unless something's going on with the club.
