Patterns of Light Across the Labyrinth

Our photo club had two photo walks this week and I'll be filling in all my blank spaces with shots from them!

The labyrinth lies at the edge of Columcille Megalith Park and the Kirkridge Retreat Center. I think it actually belongs to the Center so it must have some sort of contemplative role in their religious retreats. I've photographed it before when there was less greenery around. At that time I found the patterns created by the stones very interesting but this time it was the light and shadows caused by the descending sun that caught my interest.

This is very lovely. Our local park is going to building a labyrinth. The land is chosen at the beach front park but I haven’t seen a plan yet.
