Artist: D. Djajakusuma (1918-1987) An Indonesian film director and promoter of traditional art forms. He joined the National Film Corporation in 1951 and released 11 films during his cinematographic career. He returned to teaching in 1964 and is credited with revitalizing the Betawi theater form "lenong" while receiving numerous awards for his film-making.
