Yes, I prefer the black and white too because the picture is then about the glass. In this shot the picture is about the color.

@pyrrhula No- although the little yellow hat is an antique from my grandmothers collection, the little green bottle behind it is another antique I picked up in a yard sale and the red plate was a Christmas gift from my daugther-in-law.

I prefer those colorful. In b/w I miss the color balance. The right side is too heavy. A colorful one has a wonderful texture!
