Our photo club went to Millbrook Village today for a photo shoot. It was a beautiful day for it!! Since I am very limited at the moment I took full advantage of all the nice benches scattered around the grounds! In spite of sitting a lot I took quite a few photos. But I find that all that sitting usually makes me see more in a spot than I would initially see- a lesson I learned from our current photographer featured in the artist challenge- Freeman Patterson. What I noticed at this spot was the way the light lit up the background while the foreground remained shadowed thus making it appear like the Fiddleback Ferns were of varying colors.
Awesome image! Nice contrast and detail--and I like the little bits of pink in the background. I admire your attitude, not letting your knees get the best of you!
@eudora Thank you Diane and thank you so much for the fav! I try not to let it get the best of me but seeing some of the images the others were able to take, I'm a little jealous of not being able to walk around- but hopefully by Fall!
@randystreat Thank you Kathy! I think it will end up being my favorite shot of the day.
Thank you so much for all the views, comments and favs! I truly appreciate each and every one of them!
