First Zinnia by olivetreeann

First Zinnia

I planted some Zinnias in one of my flower pots on my deck and they're starting to bud and bloom.

Another hot and humid day has me dipping into the recent archives for something to post. I'm told we're supposed to have a break in the weather tomorrow. Here's hoping that's true!
pretty flower and a lovely composition

Pretty photo. Our days have been hot and humid too. My camera lens has been fogging up outside due to the humidity. We had a break in the heat today. I hope you have one tomorrow.

they've been telling us about the break, i've never felt any break from this ghastly weather. i wanted to go to the beaches but it's just too darn hot! the zinnia is pretty and glad you got them. i only have a measly gerbera daisy that looks so sickly in my window.

This is so pretty especially when viewed on black.

I hope you get the break because I know how horrible it is with high heat and humidity!

Terrific focus and dof . Just a question - how to you make that black line around the inside - been trying to google and look in books and I guess I'm not expressing it correctly.

Thank you so much for all your views, comments and favs! I appreciate each and every one!

@milaniet The black line is a frame that comes with my photo processing program- Smart Photo Editor. It's called Exposure Vignette Plus. The initial frame has a square white vignette around the edge with the black lines but I can use sliders to erase/dim the vignette which I often do. I would guess that other programs are able to do the same kind of frame but I don't know what it would be called in them.

@pistache Thank you Clare! As long as I keep watering them in this heat they should survive and thrive.
