This Way and That Way on the Bushkill Today

While we did not have anywhere near the level of rainfall that some areas in the south did, we did get enough to cause some flooding (no, not climate change but too much building and not enough places for the excess water to go) and substantially raise the level of the Bushkill which runs through our community. I took these crossing over a one-lane bridge that I take to get to and from my home. The first is looking to the left, the last to the right and the center is the swirling mess that flows under the bridge.
wow! that is a lot of water! Great shots of the action!

I would be a little worried driving over the bridge.Hope it doesn't get any higher

Definitely the river is up. The water has the brown color typical here of heavy rain and soil run off.

How amazing, you hit the nail on the head. Either that or too much tree felling as it is here.

Thank you Katy, Wendy, Kathy, Diana, Haskar, Harry, Nina, Lou Ann, and Ron!

@wendyfrost The bridge is high enough that water has never come up over it but the Bushkill has flooded the shores alongside it several times since we've lived here and another bridge further downstream which was much lower did get washed out at one point and has never been replaced. But this one is safe for now.
