African Drums

We had an African drum group perform at our church in June. It was a great concert but I couldn't wait until it was over so that I could go up and take pictures of the instruments! haha I wish I'd had more time- they were very photogenic and interesting. But the musicians started putting them away almost immediately!

Still filling in June- no need to comment on all the shots- just the ones where you feel like it.
Those sure are some amazing drums, lovely edit and framing.

Is this the way they are transported? A bit primitive looking, but fitting with the drums.

@ludwigsdiana @edorreandresen @shannejw @grammyn @haskar @randystreat

Thank you Diana, Dorre, Shanne, Katy, Haskar and Kathy!

I'm not sure how they're transported. This was the last to be packed up I think, but I had gone before that. The xylophone type part sits on top of them so I have a feeling it gets dismantled in some way before going "on the truck".

@grammyn that would have been fun! They may have some of it recorded on our website (esumc.net)- I know they have better pictures of it than mine. And we're also on Youtube or Facebook and it might be on there. Check it out if you're inclined! (o;
