Liberty Ship Memorial by olivetreeann

Liberty Ship Memorial

This memorial (which you only see a portion of here) was erected to commemorate the war efforts of the shipyards which built Liberty Ships in Portland Harbor during WWII. I thought it would make a good postage stamp and gave it value of what it cost to mail a post card during WWII.

Once again I am bombarding you with many pictures- but there's only one more batch to go and then it's back to normal posting in June- phew! Thanks for your patience- and please- don't feel obligated to comment on them all.
It's perfect!

Interesting memorial and your idea to make it. A postage stamp was very clever.
