Three bells my mom used to have sitting on her mantle, that now sit on mine.
Beautiful shot.

that's quite odd. this morning when i woke up i was reciting in my head edgar alan poe's "the bells" poem, don't know where it came from. then i forgot about it when i turned on my laptop to comment on owo's my eyes landed on your photo and boom! the tintinnabulation started in my head. bells! bells! bells! 😂 aces!

@summerfield Thank you Vikki! LOL after walking around the house looking for inspiration for about 5 minutes this was the easy way out! Who knew it was inspired by a dream-to-be.

@ljmanning @illinilass @amyk

Thank you Laura, Dorothy, and Amy!

These bells came from a gift shop the church I grew up in ran. It was called The SERRV shop but I can't remember what all the letters stood for. The merchandise was all hand-crafted gift items from third-world countries- and the sales went back to the people who made the items- pretty much like what "fair trade" items are today- or 10,000 Villages is (if you're familiar with those shops).
