Today was an exciting day for Piggy and the Critters. They welcomed Little Blue into the neighborhood. Little Blue lived in a factory warehouse before moving to Pennsylvania so he is quite happy to settle into Miss Ann's home. We talked a lot about being a good neighbor and how to welcome someone into your neighborhood. We wondered if the Bible (which has a lot of good instructions on how to live) had anything to say about neighbors. And guess what? It did! The Critters were so excited about what they learned they decided to tell it in their own words.
To see their version of "The Good Neighbor", check out their entry on the 365 Toy Group page:
THAT'S what they are! I thought tiny animals. You should check out the variety of crocheted teensy, tiny animals on the etsy site. They don't sound that cool, being crocheted, buy they are amazing. I know you'd love. But waaaaay tooo expensive. I have always loved tiny things. I have a tiny bday cake, cat, etc. I should take pic of soon and put on here. You are so much fun, Ann!
@creativeaddict Thank you Laur! It's good to have fun, isn't it? Sort of relieves the stress of real life. Yes, you should take pictures of your tiny toys and post them on the 365 Toy Group discussion pages. Piggy (the one with the tube around her tummy) wants me to point out that she is not an eraser. She is a bath tub toy, but I've never played with her in the water (so she won't get moldy on the inside as bathtub toys sometimes do!). She was the original toy and the little pig, little horse and little cow followed with the koala and elephant joining the ranks recently. The little ones are all erasers- and if you want to see more of the same- check out Vikki Summerfield's collection! http://365project.org/365toygroup/365/2015-01-16
