This is not my shot- but I felt compelled to play with it! What do you think Damon? I think it could even handle a very slight Dutchman's tilt to make the diagonal a little stronger. I am really drawn to the lines created by those alternating woods!
Yes, I like it.
As you see from my efforts it is not easy from the images I have to do much with the angles. It was difficult on the day because the owner was obviously not happy with what I was doing. So I was limited in what I could do to take the shot and lots of the props overlapped each other. So almost any angle would cause a lot of work in Photoshop. I would love to have had one of those props to play with for an hour! As it was I got three images in about 20 seconds.
@littleconnie I can only say half a thanks Connie as it's not really my shot! (o:
@kerristephens I only edited it- thanks Kerri! @henrir I did too- that's why I just had to play with it.
@netkonnexion Glad you like it Damon. Yes, when you feel uncomfortable about taking the shot because you sense someone doesn't really want you to, it makes it very difficult to be creative on the spot. But sometimes those obstacles can prove to be the very thing that improves our skill or helps our creativity to grow. I think you did the best you could with the limitations- but the shot is so nice and clear you can move away from the "realistic", crop and edit some of the parts into nice abstracts. It's one of those shots you can have a lot of fun with on a rainy day.
