Volcanic Ash by onewing

Volcanic Ash

Still on the same stretch of beach at The Point where I took the last two days of photos from, only this is a bit further around the headland.

I just love the gorgeous colours of volcanic ash. It is quite brittle as it sits among the sand and stones on the beach.
Great capture. Really like all the different colours and textures.

Interesting how it's so different from the other rocks you've photographed, great colours here.

Another strong abstract from natural elements. You're collecting enough of these to make a wonderful nature book.

@cmp @beryl @pcoulson @gilbertwood @hermann @happysnaps @hrs @jodies @annied @merrelyn @salza @mittens @seattlite @craftymeg @ivan @jesperani @shirleybankfarm @jackie8 @inthecloud5 @777margo @radiogirl @deborah63 Thanks. This is one of my favourite walks, so many different things to see. Beaches on either side of the headland, plus the marina, mangrove swamps, volcanic remains, birds, plus very expensive water front properties.

Thanks. I just love the green and purple of the volcanic ash as it solidifies. It is so brittle and you can pick up pieces of it.
