Yesterday I posted a photo of the surf rescue boat at Birubi. Here is a collage of the training they were doing.
Each team got in the boat, sailed out to marker buoys in the ocean, circled the buoys and then sailed back to shore. They then tagged the next team and off they went to do the same routine. Each team were timed to determine a winner. It was fascinating to watch and they are so fit.
When I replied to people who commented on yesterday's surf rescue photo I attached a link to an event at Fingal Bay a couple of years ago, Fingal isn't far from Birubi. So this is an idea of what the surf rescue people are up against. Here is that link again if anyone is interested.
Great action shots! I've seen them practicing off of Cape May here- such a demanding job if you have to go to rescue someone so the practice is critical. Great collage.

Tough job but glad they do it
