Another hospital appointment today in Newcastle for David with the neurologist but much less stressful today.
Eventually, yesterday, after driving round the normal hospital car parks with no success, we finally found a parking slot but I suspect we shouldn't really have parked there. Nobody stopped us though so we parked there again today. Will keep this area in mind next time we have to park at the hospital. The good thing about both being in our 70s is that if we shouldn't have parked there we are very good at playing dumb if need be, ha ha.
Good news and not so good news for David. He now has to have a further CT scan, MRI scan and more blood tests to determine why he keeps having clots and strokes even though he is taking blood thinners.
On our way home from the hospital we had to call in at one of the Newcastle shopping centres and saw these artworks in the entrance by Newcastle artist, Mitch Revs. I took photos of all 10 of them but you can't see the actual size so I will post a photo of the stairwell and some of the artworks in my extras album so you have a sense of scale.
It wasn't easy getting reasonable photos of the pictures due to the lighting in the centre but eventually I got most of them without any glare from the lights.
The paintings are very striking & would cheer you up if you were feeling down. Poor David, he must be very fed up of tests but as long as they are trying to find the solution you canât grumble! Letâs hope itâs soon fixed Babs....a worry for you too. Hope all goes well.
The stairwell shot does give us a good perspective of this beautiful artwork. Of course your collage shows off the individual pieces nicely with the black background. I like his work and how you treated it.
I get the feeling the display must have been totally awesome, there is so much detail
