This was so funny this morning. I got out of the car to take a shot of a tree in a field and I could hear sheep in the field on the opposite side of the lane. I went over and started taking a few shots of a black faced sheep which was nearest to the fence. Suddenly the sheep in the field all started calling out and running towards me. They thought I had food for them I think - what a shame I only had my camera!! LOL!!

Love it, love it. Typical sheep used to being given feed, human=food. I hadn't thought about it, but I guess the snow you get would mean livestock must be hand-fed over winter.
@taffy it was so funny! I should have taken a video - all the sheep in the background are running towards me and they all seemed to be baaaing! This shot just doesn't capture what it was like.
The farm animals always seem interested when I take pictures and they do seem to come closer when it is feeding time. One time they were checking my sister and I out with our cameras when the person who had food for them drove into the road opposite us and all of them took off. It was very funny.
