2016 12 26 - Bolton Castle

No Boxing Day Sales for us today- who needs more shopping and crowds of people?
Instead we had a lovely drive through the dales with the sunshine lighting up the countryside. This is Bolton Castle with snow on the top of the dale in the distance. Yes it was very cold and felt even colder with the strong wind.

What a pleasure it is to drive on empty roads through glorious countryside. It makes me remember how much I love driving!!

@maggiemae It was funny - as soon as I got out of the car the whole herd of sheep came galloping towards me - you should have heard the noise!! They thought I was bringing them food I think!!
