Wishing you all a Happy Easter if you celebrate and if not Happy Holiday!!
Another Chatsworth House shot I'm afraid. Just a shame it was such a dull day. I love this place as it is such a lovely house in a beautiful setting. Whenever I go to Derbyshire I try to visit normally I have Finlay with me and he loves to walk all along the river bank. There are herds of deer as well as sheep and cows roaming the land. Always a great day out even if you don't go inside to see the fabulous collections.
Best on black.
Many thanks on your lovely comments on my Chatsworth shots - very much appreciated!!
Apologies??? You really apologized for another shot of this house and grounds?! We "foreigners" spend the big bucks to travel there and enjoy sights like this, so bring them on and let us pour over the beauty of that long-ago time! What a lovely era it must have been...at least for the home owners!
@Weezilou so pleased you are enjoying these shots Louise. I love walking round Chatsworth and its a pleasure to share its beauty. By the way when I take my sister all I hear are comments about the rich living like this at the expense of the poor! It's a standing joke in our family - "Don't mention the Queen!" I can appreciate the beauty but all she can see is the unfairness of it! We are so different on many levels! Families are interesting! Lol!
@taffy I am trying to get as much practice in with architectural shots before I come! The Big City is a whole new challenge for me and I can't wait! Not long now!
