This is the only photo out of 100 that Sophie actually liked herself in. She asked me to crop out the others standing beside them and then said she liked this shot!! She went to the prom with Callum although he is not her boyfriend (he is a "player" she said} Her actual boyfriend Alex took another girl who was an old family friend and he had promised ages ago that he would take her. He didn't like to disappoint her.
Sophie said that when Alex saw her he said he wished he had taken her to the prom. I think that was what Sophie was aiming for!! By the way the dress cost over £400!! Can you believe anyone spending that much on a 16 year old for her prom? Sophie is a very lucky and very spoiled girl!!
I won't be volunteering to do photos like this again - so stressful trying to get them right. A whole day processing and then getting copies to Sophie and her friends. I hope they appreciate it!! I remember now why I don't want to do weddings!!
Many thanks for your comments on my recent shots - so very much appreciated!!
These proms seem to be big business now. I think my daughters had an end of school disco. No fancy dresses or suits. On my last day at school we got tipsy on cider in the local park!
Yes I should imagine they could be more precious than a bride.. for the same reason I would not enjoy this type of photography .. though I did do my granddaughter junior prom and that was fun.. beautiful dress and girl..
What a delightful photo! I remember back when I got a dress for $200 and I thought I'd probably broken the bank! It's incredible what kids are paying nowadays! Take that back... I'll bet it's their parent's who are picking up that tab!
Beautiful girl and the dress looks lovely on her. I hope she has lots of events she can wear it again to. Proms seem to be the in thing with youngster now, and it seems to be who can out do who.
My gosh, that is rather expensive!
I too hope you efforts are much appreciated....it would be a lot of work, and very stressful.
you've done an amazing job, so fingers crossed your niece thinks so too!!
Interesting to see the outfit!
