Sitting on the bench again this morning watching the activity on the beach and some youngsters in the water having a swimming lesson. The water was such a beautiful colour and so clear. The sun was warm and I chatted to a lady who lived in Bedford - not far from where I live - its a small world!! I glanced behind me and saw that the sky had gone really dark and threatening!! - Sun at sea and black clouds inland. Finlay and I beat a hasty retreat and I was just opening the front door to our cottage when the heavens opened!! Torrential rain - that was lucky!!

You were lucky Pam. Torrential rain there very quickly runs off the hills and makes it's way down to the sea and if you happen to be there on the road walking down to the sea in your wellies it will run up the back of your wellies and you'll get wet - trust me I know lol. I was there a lot in the 80's, love the whole area.
