Another image from my photoshoot with Nick Dalmedo my friend's husband who commissioned me to do some shots for advertising his future gigs. It took a long time processing all the shots I took - deleting many. Out of 450 I ended up with 130 shots I was pleased with. I printed off a few 7x5 with the name of the band added in PS for his posters. I then printed off a selection at 4x6 as extras. All the shots were finally put onto CDs. I posted the parcel to him and was delighted with his response. He was thrilled with the portraits as he thought I made him look like a star!! LOL!! What a relief!! I know now why I don't want to do weddings!!
I have been absent from 365 while doing all the processing and also I have been reading reviews on travel cameras - hundreds of them!!
I finally pressed the "buy"button today for a Panasonic Lumix FZ330 which had very good reviews. I think this will be perfect for my up coming trip to Nova Scotia and should cover all my requirements. I just hope it's not too complicated.
So I am very sorry for not commenting on many of your images - I am so far behind with 365!! I am off visiting friends in Cardiff on Wednesday until Saturday so will hopefully be back with you all by next Sunday!! Life just gets in the way sometimes!!
Congrats on completing your "The Singer" project. That's a lot of images to process. & congrats on your new toy! I'm sure it will be perfect for your trip. :)
Wonderful B&W portrait
I am still sure if his musical career falters he has still got a successful future as a double.
Re your new toy, I had an FZ100 a few years ago ( in fact still got it), and was very impressed with it. According to the reviews the newer models are just as impressive.
You've done a really remarkable job with your photoshoot. No wonder he's pleased - the ones you've posted have been fabulous! And what a lot of work you've done with them. You've got to feel proud of yourself. Fav
