The German House by pcoulson

The German House

Another shot of the German House now called Smith House Lodge in Lightcliffe this one in colour, was posted on 2nd February 2024 in monochrome, see link https://365project.org/pcoulson/365-5/2024-02-02 Built around 1741 by John Holmes the owner of the adjacent property Smith House
Another lovely shot - it's interesting to see it built right up to the road frontage on one side.

I could live quite happily in that house. Not so sure about the UK weather though. Can you ship it to Australia please. No need to send it express, regular postage would be fine.

@robz Thank you Rob for your interesting comment and Fav it’s appreciated, back in 1741 the traffic would not be the problem it is today and possibly the road was more. cart track and less wide:)

@onewing Ha Ha Babs it could be done stone by stone but it would take years the way postage is now:)

A lovely building! And a nice shot, Peter- it's interesting to compare this one to your monochrome capture. I like them both!
