Sarah ( @sarahlth ) recently posted a photo treated in part with the split tone process. Many were bemused by the term. "Split tones" is a feature in Lightroom (and probably many other processing packages) that allows you a pretty wide degree of control over how highlights and shadows are coloured, toned, balanced etc. Inspired by Sarah, and also all the other great water drop images on here, I thought I'd have a play around and this is the result.
Wow peter this is lovely, sounds technical to me, but very interesting and beautiful lighting and colours. I have been experimenting today too as very wet day here. is deff a FAV from me, your result is stunning.
@fbailey Felicity, thank you. As with so many images, the minute you put it up you start to notice little things that could have been done better, but I suppose that's the learning curve, isn't it!
