Pasta by peadar

Pasta

This was our meal this evening - a tangy parmesan, pecorino, lemon, pine nut and parsley pasta. This one is from Jamie Oliver's "Cook with Jamie" book, which I can highly recommend for amateur cooks like myself.

As this plate was actually my dinner, it was a rushed shot, and I can see already soooo many things I could have tweaked to make this more appealing. However, as the dish has now actually been eaten, it will have to be a lesson for next time...
Yum!

My mouth is watering looking at this. I think Jamie needs to commission you for his next book! You certainly have a way with food.

@casablanca It was first published 13 years ago, but they're still available new from a certain large online retailer. You can also pick up used copies through that retailer and eBay. It's a great book as it provides some general cooking advice as well as some gorgeous (yet relatively straightforward) recipes.

It looks delicious. I saw this last night when we got home from Newcastle but after eating a huge meal at a fabulous restaurant I couldn't really face the thought of any more food, so left commenting until tonight.

It makes me hungry, looking at the photograph. That’s what food photography should do!
