PS can I ask a practical question as you used to work down in Southampton? Online research is proving confusing and unfruitful and I am looking for somewhere to park a car overnight for one or two nights within reach of the Red Jet Terminal at Town Quay. Any thoughts?

@casablanca Hi, there is a car park at Town Quay, I can't remember the rates but I don't think they were punitive. From memory most car parking around that part of the front is controlled. There is a very large car park for the West Quay centre which is a 5 minute walk from the Red Jet terminal. Hope this is helpful. Peter.
