On a visit to London today, we passed by the Westminster section of the Extinction Rebellion, a planned two week demonstration across a handful of key areas in central London. The demonstrators wish to draw attention to the perils of global warming and the need for widespread action to reduce carbon emissions (and please forgive me if I have misrepresented their aims - I am trying to be as even-handed as possible).
Nice shot - I like the juxtaposition of police yellow jackets and those of the protesters. I agree that something needs doing about our environment, but I really don't understand today's demonstrations on the Docklands railway, since that is a relatively environmently positive means of transport.
