Model rail 3

Model of an early "EMU" - Electric Multiple Unit, as seen on Southern Railways in the 1950's (I think!). Any rivet counters out there please feel free to correct me!

I am sure someone will be able to help you out identifying it. David isn't too familiar with Southern Railways being a 'northerner'

The railway they are building here though is based on Northern New South Wales lines and Australian trains.

When the son has already grown, the queue models went to the wardrobe. I will need to refresh them. Wonderful picture.
