I was up in town today and had to take the underground. The "Bakerloo Line" is the one coloured brown on the Tube map, and is one of the older lines serving London.
The line was opened between 1906 and 1915, and the stations below ground feature Art Nouveau decorative tiling by Leslie Green. This lends them a distinctive style quite unlike much of the rest of the underground network.
The line was so named because it serves Baker Street and Waterloo.
