@angelikavr Angelika, you're probably aware that this part of Spain was under Islamic/Moorish rulers for a few hundred years until 1492. There is a strong Moroccan and Tunisian influence on local historical architecture, food and general life. There was also a very strong Jewish community here and that has also imported Middle Eastern traditions and customs. It's also a City with a proud Catholic history. Put all that together with flamenco, tapas and wine, and you get a fascinating result. We've really enjoyed our few days here. I imagine in the height of the summer it is incredibly busy and very hot!
@haskar I had mint and lemon (very refreshing), and Miriam had apple and cinnamon (very Christmassy). The pastries were big on nuts and honey - gorgeous.
