Alpine Study

No, I've not been on a 'training course in Switzerland'...Alpine study....awful pun !!!!!!

This is an macro shot of some alpines that sit in our garden. The heads of the flowers are probably less than one centimeter wide so the camera has had to work hard to keep them sharp. I'll post a shot later of the alpines in context so you can see how small they actually are.

Great detail, the pinks are lovely, set off beautifully by the background. I would not have realised the flowers were so tiny without your entertaining commentary

This is so lush and lovely. I'm not familiar with alpines. I guess they wouldn't grow in our midAtlantic region.
