Gregory Boulevard - Nottingham - NG7

This is Gregory Boulevard, Nottingham (NG7), shot from the front seat of my daughters car.

I'm off work today and we went to buy some bargains at Aldi !!! (good way to spend a day off !!!)

Gregory Boulevard is part of the 'inner ring road' of Nottingham ...they have an 'outer ring road' too !!! It's a well established street which is tree lined ...in fact most of the inner ring road has mature urban trees along side it.

It's within an inner city area (Hyson Green), with lots of student lets and a multi cultural community.

The trees are just turning from green to yellow, but I quite like the B/W effect I've given it in PSE (infra red filter with a few twiddles seems to be my fave method of conversion)

I even managed to clone out a lamp post light that strayed in on the left hand side of the frame...but I still managed to pass my 'max 5 minute PSE edit' test (if I can't get a decent photo in 5 mins I give up)

I do like it & those trees seem to be towering over the cars & houses !!! The light playing on the leaves is beautiful! You have no extra street furniture at all such as TV ariels or even worse Sky discs & a view right to the end of the road !! Great B&W !!!
