This image is telling me that autumn's almost over !
The carpet of leaves on the grass, the big tree in the background stripped bear of it's leaves
This scene is probably a bit 'tired' as St. MAry's recreation park has been photographed quite a bit over the last few weeks. Three pictures in October and now 1 in November !
This will be the last autumn image from here, the next time you see the surrounding bits of this park will probably be when it has a blanket of snow !
Ruby and my wife can be seen at the end of the leaves and the people in the background are 'sunday morning' football teams and friends'....errrr yes another image from here
On a trip to NYC, I bought a series of 4 photos from a street vendor of the same scene in Central Park at different times of year. I lhung them above my desk and love to look at them. So don't worry about too many photos of the same setting. You can't have too much beauty!
Yup nearly over........ a few more shots though.....frost shots coming a bit of snow..........then twinkley trees ...a bit more snow........ then SPRING again!! :))
I thought that was Ruby in the distance!!! She seems to be looking back to see where you are !! Love the carpet of leaves & I like the flashes of red of the football players.
That's ok Phil, its a great location and never the same twice with all the action going on. Your shot has a great atmosphere of autumn and I like the mood - restful and a little bit melancholy. Nice to see Ruby (and your wife of course) in the distance.
