The view form the Bolton End

...not a very good view too...as my team Bolton Wanderers lost away to Nottingham Forest 3-0

For those of you not aware of football culture, an "end" in football is where a set of supporters for a given team congregate .....This is the away end at Forest ...where the Bolton fans sit .....when I say away end....Nottingham is actually my home, but Bolton is my team, hence I was sat in the away end ...the Bolton end ....in my home city....

Have I confused you with my description......not half as confused as the Wanderers defence who shipped 3 goals far too easily....

Things get confused when away fans are allocated seat in a 'side' as opposed to an 'end'...but we wont go there as I think I have waffled on far too much.

BTW: Bolton are in the white jerseys and this is a Bolton 'corner' about to be taken....a corner is a set play / restart in football ...nothing to do with 'ends' and 'sides'

I understand completely Phil but it is rather odd sitting in the 'away' end in the town where you live...that's football for you!!! Bad luck on your loss...I won't say defeat !! Looks like a good crowd there !!
