The Nottingham Tram network seems to make regualr appearances in my 365. Probably because I work near to the Hucknall Line in Basford.
This a a city centre tram stop, "The Lace Market". I was looking for a 'stranger' shot to add to my series, but it started drizzling , so I gave up and shot this through the drizzle as I went to meet Jane.
Edited in Rawtherapee with an Ilford Delta 100 monochrome film emulation.
I like it - really gives the sense of waiting. It's somehow also rather a peaceful shot. (I think strangers is going to be difficult through the winter as I find many of my subjects outdoors and who wants to stand about in the cold etc to have their photo taken?!)
Gorgeous street candid shot, Phil. In Malta, people prefer to use their own transport because public transport buses are never on time. This increases traffic and queues on our roads and makes the buses arrive even later.
Interesting street capture, I find myself wondering what they're all thinking about while they're waiting, especially the lady who seems to have a fisted hand to her mouth - it makes her look rather tense and anxious.
hope you're well Phil :)
