I've been wearing my purple Converse canvas shoes as my casual footwear throughout summer and autumn.
Yesterday, I decided (well Jane did) that I needed some shoes for winter.
I sent a whatsapp to my daughters asking what I should buy. Puma Suede's was the answer, so here are the said trainers.
It's nice to be able to call upon my fashion advisers to help me choose my clothes !
Oh and this was the last shot with my 50mm lens ! I left my camera on the settee and our little whippet Ruby knocked the camera off the settee when I was "goofing around" with her, The camera fell onto the laminate floor, landing on the lens . The motor drive is now broken and cracked and the lens is in two pieces !
Losing my 50mm prime lens is going to make my portrait series a tad difficult as the lens is perfect for portraits !
I love your new shoes! 'Catastrophe' about the lens. But I have found that the short end of my 55mm to 210mm lens is a good substitute. (But, also, Christmas is coming?!!)
The first time you go out with those shoes you should sing "These shoes are made for walking". I don't ask my children when I need something to wear, Christine goes out and buys it for me before I know I even need it. She cares too much about what we wear while I couldn't care less. Very sorry for the lens. You should ask for the advise of your daughters about buying a new one - they may take the hint and give it to you for Christmas.
Oh dear disaster Phil....so sorry about your lens & you use yours so much! Father Christmas might oblige but it's a shame woukd the household insurance not cover it? Great shoes & I like a nice plain navy shoe, goes with anything!
That's a shame about the lens, but sounds like a great excuse to update your camera gear. They look like a great pair of summer shoes, not so sure about winter ones.
Nice trainers, shame about the lens...sad news.. Can you claim on the insurance ...hubby has a lots of my camera stuff covered on American Express insurance. If not hope Santa delivers you a nice new one!!
@newbank they are indeed incredibly comfy :)
