What a pity!!!!! Your daughters will make up for it this Christmas, I'm sure. As a consolation, at least now you have seen and show us what it looks like on the inside.
Oh dear, Phil; your poor, much-loved 50 mil - well and truly scuppered! What a blow! Hope you can get a replacement soon.
(I have to confess that if this happened to one of mine, I'd be torn between wailing and gnashing my teeth and making macro abstracts of it. *Looks sheepish*)
Oh no! Poor you. We had a nasty experience with the camera in the rain on Saturday. The heavy rain all evening eventually got into the workings of the camera and it stopped working. We then switched to mobile phone shots and dried the camera out overnight. Fortunately all was well the next morning.
Oh I hate that!! Really busted didn't it? I had a fall while we were in Yellowstone...Charlie pulled on his leash to chase a poodle and I was busy with trying to set up my camera and was caught off guard. I went down hard and so did my camera...luckily very little damage to it. I can still use it ..but it was a scare. I had some a couple of scrapes and bruised ribs..but mostly embarrassed. Charlie was flirting with the poodle and was oblivious to the whole thing.

Well go ahead and blame Ruby, she won't mind. It's what best friends are for. :)
