Cala Mesquida is our favourite resort, A beautiful location on the North East tip of Mallorca, a wonderful golden sand beach, surrounded by sand dunes, pine forests and mountains.
The sea was closed for swimming when I took this picture, the waves and riptides were deemed too dangerous by the Socarrista team.
The Socarrista;s did a good job patrolling the beach and despite not being able to have a swim, I did manage to get a rather beautiful photo .
I've got a few photo's to upload from the vacation, a few selfies, more seascapes , a couple of streeties, some artistic ones, my flip flops (there's a back story to that shot) and I even got a 100 stranger picture.
What lovely blues of sea and sky with the white ripple of the surf . Really like the pop of colour of the solitary figure on watch ! It sounds that you and your camera have been busy , looking forward to see your photos
I have never seen a beach cordened off like that before. What wonderful seaside colours and the bright attire of the lifeguard makes the scene look upbeat and happy despite the barrier.
