One of my friends at camera club, Peter, knows i collect vintage lenses. He had an Industar 50-2 pancake lens, which he no longer needed , so he gave it to me
It's a 50mm f3.5 prime lens in an M42 screw thread. It's really tiny and this one originates from 1981 and was built in the KMZ factory in Russia. It is based on the Carl Ziess Tessar design,
I will post a picture of the lens to show you how small it actually is.
Ruby is always my willing model , shot wide open at f3.5
The Industar lenses in my collection are pretty cool and take amazing photos
@allie912 ha ha Allison , I have been lurking around too many geeky manual focus lens forums on the internet !!!! I can read the Russian Cyrillic symbols on lenses , Interpret serial numbers, and understand the factory symbols ...sad don't you think !!!
