Given the heating is not far from being put on at Chez Sandford I would imagine it isn't that long until the first frost and the demise of this year's Dahlia crop (though some are yet to flower beleive it or not).
As somebody put on one of my alstromeiria photographs over the weekend, the garden is always a good source of subject matter
I think the colour of this particular one is beautiful. But it is quite hard to capture. I have taken a few of it, but wasn’t happy with them. Nice image.
Our heating got nudged on low a week ago when I couldn't get the lounge warmer than 14 degrees, which was a tad cold for the elderly parents to sit in when they visit! Yes, Jack Frost is coming to snatch away the blooms soon. Nice to enjoy while they are still here. Dahlias are beautiful things
