Instead of our plan to be beside the seaside yesterday, we finished up along the River Hamble at Warsash. I came home with such a load of rubbish shots of birds, including a heron. I guess continuous shoot + long zoom does not work - any hints welcome, please.
There is a proper little jetty here which leads down to the water but passengers for the little pink ferry are exhorted to wait by the water's edge.
Great to see my bee and my blackbird get to PP - many thanks!
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
What a lovely setting. I am not too familiar with the Sony cameras, but on mine there is a focus lock for moving objects. This is done with what is called back button focus. I am sure yours will be able to do something like it.
Great shot of this ferry with such an unusual colour. I think using the long zoom while walking around without having an idea in advance of the subject you like to shot, doesn't work for me and I return with loads of rubbish as well
Thanks - will investigate.
Yes I do. Hope you are getting on OK. Beryl.
Perhaps it's to make it visible on grey days? The ferry shelter is also pink http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2014-01-23
