These caught my eye in the walled garden at Mottisfont.
Thank you everyone for such an interesting response to my yesterday's post 'a new book for writing'.
I am not good at mass replies (all that clicking back and forth makes me feel a bit disorientated) and prefer, in reply, to comment on your posts.
So this year I have decided to make any response on a following post, as I am doing here.
I mainly want to say that I do find writing a few sentences each day at a regular time therapeutic. Also to wonder what I would do with those writings if I kept them. Certainly I would not read them again and they would just moulder in a pile somewhere.
Writing to accompany my photos on 365 is also therapeutic.
Hazel, the Black Widow pencils are a really good start, you can get them off Amazon for 13.49 a tin plus p+p or EBay for 16.ish p and p free. All nice colors 3 sets all different try black widow or scorpion for pastel and bright or Cobra for a bit more muted, the set I have are lovely colors. OR try Arteza pencils they are fabulous, I have a box of 48 going begging, as hubby bought me a 72 set so I can’t use them all.
Book wise look for JOHANNA BESFORD WORLD OF FLOWERS I can really recommend it, good pictures and good quality paper.
Hope this helped
Margaret, thank you for all the info. I am having a think about colouring, my concern being that I do tend to take on more than I can cope with which is not good - and I never seem to have enough hours in the day already!
