Beauty, color and warmth

Gratitude Day#25
Today I'm grateful for the skills I learned from my mother and the beautiful, warm and colorful items I've made since that time for others as well as myself.
These are beautiful - I never learned to crochet, knit, or sew, but my sister can do it all. Lovely capture.

Impressive! It amazes me, all the different shapes and designs that can be made just by knowing how many to count one way or another. I'd get lost in what I was doing.

I love your color choices! I admire anyone who can knit, crochet or do needlework. I did needlework for a little bit but never "got into it" as a hobby. Your work is beautiful!

A wonderful array of knitteds to keep you warm, I love knitting too but have had to retire, I used to be able to knit an adult jumper in a week, I was fast! Now I just knit the odd small item. Nice capture

@linnypinny I'm very glad that I can do this. Sure has been a lifesaver these past 9 months.
@lyndemc Getting lost is a common occurrence. Especially when I'm watching a movie or show or trying to read a book. I always take out part of what I've done for not counting often enough.
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann. Those tend to be the colors I'm attracted to.

@randystreat Your share gave me a chuckle.

You were a smart girl to learn these things from your mom. I wish I had done the same. Only learned a few basic stitches.
November 30th, 2020
@jb030958 I learned the basics from mom and used books and now the internet to learn more difficult stitches and patterns. All knitting is one stitch at a time. You either knit it or purl it or slip it.
