Tree across the road by randystreat

Tree across the road

Last evening we had rain, and wind, and thunder and lightning and I saw from my living room window that this tree that is directly across the road from the driveway was strangely highlighted. Not sure if it was because there was still some twilight or it was reflecting the street light at the end of my drive. Because the whole tree was lit, not just the right side. I hate the photo doesn't do my sight justice.
Viewing it on black may make it more like what you saw because it is fantastic and a FAV

Yes, when you view it on black it really stands out so much better. Good eye!

@grammyn Thank you. I meant to add that it looks better on the black.
@olivetreeann Thanks. It was staring at me through the window where I was sitting. Just had to take a photo.

I love the way we do see things differently when we have the photographers eye!

It does look interesting.

The faint appearance of the tree in the darkness makes this particularly atmospheric.

It's a little eerie knowing there had been a storm but it looks pretty too.

Looks great. And your imagination will complete the whole thing.

@dkbarnett I've noticed that since I started taking more than snapshots. @shutterbug49 Thanks Debbie
@kjarn It was a bit eerie.
@pusspup Thanks Wylie.
@will_wooderson Thanks Will. The sky and light was a bit strange at the time. We were under a tornado watch, so I was trying to be attentive to that. Thank God missed that bullet.
