Watercolor Exhibit

Decided to do something different (for me) and attended an art exhibit at a local gallery. I learned about different watercolor techniques.

@olivetreeann I didn't notice when I saw her in person (the seated lady on the right) but it looks as if she has a major scar on her face which pulls her mouth. The ladies were sitting there following the announcement of the prizes. I think the lady on the right and perhaps the seated lady in the middle were winners.
@grammyn I enjoyed looking at all the paintings, some of course more than others. I just can't seem to get started painting, although I still have all the supplies spread out on a table in the sun room.
@haskar Yes, I do need to give myself a kick and start. The stuff is out and waiting on me. It's finding a block of time for which I don't want to do other things.

@wakelys It looks very dour but not sure she doesn't have a facial scar pulling her mouth like that. It was fun and something different to do. Got me out of the house for awhile.

@pusspup @craftymeg Thank you Brian, Babs, Debbie, Jenn, Wylie and Meg. I had a good time, but it didn't take too long. I read all the bios and info submitted about the artists and most have been painting for a long time and have had received previous awards. I need to get my a** in gear and start painting myself.

I think it's coming up time for an annual watercolor exhibit at our Arts Center. I'll have to check on that. Good for you for doing some stuff out of your usual sphere (as though the Canadian train trip weren't enough out of your ordinary!)
