Get Pushed Challenge 495
My partner this week challenged me to a landscape photo. The roads have been snowy and icy since the challenge was issued, so not much opportunity for going anywhere. I took this photo of a horse pasture through the backyards of the 3 houses next to mine. You can just barely see a horse on the far side of the fence between the tree and garage.
@grammyn@digitalrn Thank you Katy and Rick. I'm not a big horse person but I like to look down toward the pasture because I think it's pretty and like to see the horses (sometimes there's more than one) running around.
@thewatersphotos Thank you Gary. @rhoing Thank you Thom. @jamibann Thank you Issi. @wakelys Thank you Sue. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Down that way, the snow is fine. Where it's not is on the roads and my driveway. Thanks Jackie. @will_wooderson Yeah, I know what you mean about the snow Will. I'm ready for it to be gone. Thank you.
@randystreat this is a lovely scene. I like the settled area bordering on a wilder wooded area in the back. I've been trying to open my idea about what "landscape" is and I think the notion that it includes foreground, middle ground leading to more distant background is the essence of it. This photo definitely has these elements.
@francoise Thank you Francoise. I did look it up to see if there were guidelines for calling a photo a landscape and had difficulty finding anything specific.
@rhoing Thank you Thom.
@jamibann Thank you Issi.
@wakelys Thank you Sue.
