“Miscanthus sinensis” by rhoing

“Miscanthus sinensis”

I didn’t have many shots today, so I decided to try-try-try again to photograph this plant. When the sun hits these seed heads from the proper angle, they look somewhat like “sparklers” to me. This shot wasn’t quite what I hoped to capture, but perhaps I’m on the right track? Suggestions anyone?

This particular ornamental “grass” is Miscanthus sinensis. According to the Missouri Botanical Garden, the common name is “eulalia”; it belongs to the family Poaceae.
