Some snow, but the word is C-O-L-D!

In southeastern Michigan, but extreme weather is common across the USA and Canada either right now or is coming. While this image was taken several hours after some shoveling had already been done, it’s not so much about the snow as much as it is about the cold! Although I grew up here, having a mild case of Raynaud’s disease* I don’t last much longer than 20 minutes or so out in the cold we’re having right now.

I might conjecture that I couldn’t have posted this image 3 years ago when I began this project. I hadn’t yet realized — *especially* when looking through the lens — that entire objects didn’t have to be in the image in order for the image to contain the desired message. Three years ago, the entire automobile would have been in the image and that would have “cluttered” the message. I think. “You have come far, Grasshopper.”** Or so I’d like to think.

Love the unspoiled blanket of snow, the open white area and how the snow is piled on the tires.

@danette Awesome! and thank you! It was really how the snow was swept up the tires that sold me on this image, too! Thanks, Danette!
