Doormat

This is the snow-covered doormat at our front door this morning. Reaching out for the newspaper was as far as I went today given the snow and cold. The University has already announced it will be closed tomorrow. The Student Recreation Center will be closed tomorrow and there are numerous school closings over the tri-state region.

The design in the mat probably means “Enter at your own peril. A cranky old man lives here.”
